Roads are always connected with memories, paths that leave traces on our minds throughout our lives. Over the years, I’ve captured every road I’ve crossed without paying much attention to the specific aesthetics of the image. More than composition is my purpose, I have had the idea of documenting roads and highways in mind. The photos in the present collection are part of these photos on the way from Tehran to Kerman. Therefore, each of these photos is connected with different stories and ultimately evokes the theme of passing and leaving or returning.
Each of us experiences crossing roads that are different from other roads during a year of our life. Even if thousands of people like me have crossed the same road, still the type of associations and the meanings we get from it are different.
